On February 5, 1972, promoter Ed Francis presented a Saturday night card at the old Civic Auditorium topped by a Pier 9 Brawl between Handsome Johnny Barend and Sweet Daddy Siki.

Other matches on the card included Sam Steamboat and Jimmy Snuka vs Maddog Mayne and Jack Bence, Pat O'brien vs Guy "Stomper" Mitchell, The Mighty Brutus vs Chuck Richards, and Hahn Lee vs The Russian Wolfman.

Pat O'Brien vs Guy "Stomper" Mitchell

This opening match was between two Canadian wrestlers, Pat O'brien and Guy "Stomper" Mitchell. After a short struggle, the match ended in a draw.

Hahn Lee vs The Russian Wolfman

The next match had local favorite Hahn Lee go up against The Russian Wolfman. This match does not appear on the card and may have been a last minute addition. Hahn Lee managed a hard fought victory over the Wolfman.

Up next was a tag team battle which was victorious for the team of Sam Steamboat and Jimmy Snuka.

Johnny Barend vs Sweet Daddy Siki

The main event was a Pier 9 Brawl, with 15 two minute rounds, and both wrestlers wearing boxing gloves. The contestants, Sweet Daddy Siki and Handsome Johnny Barend, had been involved in a bitter feud for quite a while. This match was supposed to settle their differences once and for all. Unfortunately, this "Brawl" ended in a draw.
